- On 5 October 1778, Edward Sherman of Middleborough was appointed to administer the estate of Benjamin Haskell, late of Middleboro, yeoman, deceased. The inventory was taken 8 October 1778.
The will of Elnathan Sherman of Middleborough dated 17 December 1772 names Simeon, Edward and Seth; daughter Sarah wife of Benjamin Haskell and daughter Althea. A codicil dated 3 October 1778, states daughter Sarah, wife of Benjamin Haskell, is deceased and her husband Benjamin Haskell is also deceased, and names Noah and Abiah Haskell, their "only surviving children."
On 1 December 1796, Simeon Sherman, Edward Sherman, Alathea Sherman, Noah and Abiah Haskell, all of Middleborough, desired division of the real estate of their brother, Seth Sherman, late of Middleborough.
