  Idaho State Journal March 14, 2001 BANCROFT - Syble Haskell Toolson, 95, of Bancroft, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2001, at home. She was born November 24, 1905, at Newton, Utah, the daughter of James Edward and Fanny Jeanetta Hardy Haskell. She was raised and educated in Fielding, Utah, until 1922, when she moved to Bancroft. She married John Harold Toolson June 21, 1928, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Toolson passed away June 12, 1967. Together they owned and operated Toolson's Hotel and Drug Store in Bancroft. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had been active in the Young Women's organization and in the Primary. She was a member of the Bancroft Literary Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, and a Bancroft Pinochle Club. Her hobbies included music, playing the piano and the harmonica. Syble is survived by two sons, Harold A. Toolson, Bancroft, Idaho, and Gerald H. Toolson, Bullhead City, Ariz.; also surviving are five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jennie Deaton, Boise. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, LaVell Haskell, Cecil Haskell, Elvis Haskell and Ionna McDonald.
