  Sarasota Herald-Tribune (FL) August 5, 2008 Deceased Name: Haskell, Iris Kimball: May 10, 1926 - Aug. 1, 2008 Iris Kimball Haskell, 82, Port Charlotte, formerly of Punta Gorda, died Aug. 1, 2008. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Lee-Henk of Goffstown, N.H.; a son, Bruce K. of New London, N.H.; a sister, Janice Plimpton of Lebanon, N.H.; her brothers, Forest N. Kimball of Punta Gorda and Gary Kimball of Scarborough, Maine; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. _____ Union Leader (Manchester, NH) September 14, 2008 Iris Kimball Haskell, 82, passed away at the Tidewell Hospice House in Palmetto, Florida on Friday, August 1st, 2008. Iris had been a resident of Manchester and New London, New Hampshire for many years. She and her husband moved to Punta Gorda, Florida to retire in 1986. They spent many happy years in Punta Gorda. After her husband's death, Iris moved to the Harbour Terrace Assisted Living facility at Southport Square in Port Charlotte, Florida, where she was an active and much loved member of the "Harbour Health Community" until she became ill with cancer in April of 2008. Iris was born on May 10th, 1926 to Forest W. and Mildred (Brown) Kimball in Londonderry, NH. She married her husband of 61 years, Kenneth W. Haskell, on December 22nd, 1945. Together they raised two children in both Manchester and New London, New Hampshire. Iris was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth W. Haskell, in January of 2007. She leaves behind a son, Bruce K. Haskell and his wife Karen (Welch) of New London, NH, a daughter, Brenda Lee-Henk and her husband Peter of Goffstown, NH, three grandchildren, Jeffrey Haskell, Tyler Haskell and Danielle Henk, as well as two great-grandchildren, Kyler Henk and Ivy-Izabelle Henk. She also leaves a sister, Janice Plimpton, and her husband Lee, of Lebanon, NH, two brothers, Forest Kimball and his friend Idell, of New London, NH and Punta Gorda, FL; and Gary Kimball and his wife Gracie of Scarborough, ME. Iris had also maintained a close relationship with her husband's sister-in-law, Constance Haskell, of Hooksett, NH; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
