Born Feb. 22, 1938, in Chicago, the daughter of Gerald and Rose (Costanzo) Mastroianni. She married Donald H. Haskell on Sept. 18, 1965, in Rockford. Member of St. Bridget Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir. She was the secretary at Beth Eden United Methodist Church for the past nine years. It started as a job, but became her ministry for which she had a passion and love. Maddie is survived by her husband, Don; children, Therese Kopplin of Loves Park, Kathy (Jamie) Snider of Machesney Park, Suzi (Scott) Wiersma of Tirana, Albania, and Deb (David) Keller of Loves Park; 16 grandchildren; sister, Lucille (Vince) Nibbio of Rockford; brothers, Gerry (Rose) Mastroianni of Winnebago and Mike (Crystal) Mastroianni of Machesney Park; and sister-in-law, Nancy Mastroianni of Loves Park.
