Verl Asa Haskell, 74, died July 15, 1991 at the Veterans Hosptial in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born June 15, 1917, a son of Irvin E. and Clarisia Olsen Haskell. He attended grade school in Sublett, Idaho, graduated from Malta, Idaho High School, and went to Albion State Normal School. Verl was one of the first in Cassia County to enlist in the Army just before World War II. He married Martha Vollmer Rehus November 22, 1957; marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. They were later divorced. Verl was an Elder in the LDS Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gordan (Shirley) Bruderer, Brigham City; Mrs. Gerald (Helen) Fink, Hailey, Idaho; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers and three sisters, Orvis Haskell, Magna; Ray Haskell, Salt Lake City; Roy Haskell, Midvale; Mrs. Harold (June) Lloyd, Erda, Utah; Mrs. Dennis (Lela) Alder, Logan; and Mrs. Raymond (Irene) Roche, Corrine, Utah. Preceded in death by his parents, two nieces and two nephews.
