ERDA, Utah--Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Harold R. Lloyd passed away on December 8, 1996 in Salt Lake City, Utah following a long illness.
Harold was born on January 1, 1921 to Harry P. and Stella Broadhead Lloyd in Albion, Idaho. He married Sylvia June Lloyd on March 30, 1938. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on October 2, 1944. Harold was a hard working rancher all his life. He had a special love for animals and showed it by his kindness and patience toward them. He managed a dairy farm in Logan, Utah for 11 years for the LDS Church, then moved to Vernon Utah and managed the church farm there for 10 years. He then moved to Erda, Utah and managed a ranch for Howard Clegg Livestock Co. until his retirement.
He leaves behind his wife, June and children: Helen Teeples of Tooele, Utah; sons, Duane (Sandi) Lloyd of Grantsville, Utah.; Ralph Lloyd and Gary Lloyd of Erda, Utah. He also leaves 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Also one brother, Clifford Lloyd, Las Vegas, Nev. and one sister, Florence (Dallas) Johnson of Randolph, Utah.
He was preceded in death by parents, and daughter, June Charlene Larson; sisters, his twin Helen, Merle and Alta; brothers, Twins, Elbert and Delbert, Reed, Robert and Ralph.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
