Born in Erie, Pa., he came here in 1952 and moved to Salem in 1993. He was a graduate of Boca Ciega High School and St. Petersburg Junior College and was an Army veteran. He was an electrician. He was an avid angler and outdoorsman. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; a daughter, Ericka Loop, and a stepdaughter, Rachelle Simpson, both of Largo; a stepson, Robby Ordway, Salem; his mother, Cecelia Loop, Casselberry; three sisters, Carol LaHue, Nashua, N.H., Charlene Urey, Irwin, Pa., and Sandra Shirzadi, Casselberry; and two brothers, Robert, Milford, Mass., and George, Pinellas Park,
