  The Register-Guard (Eugene, OR) December 17, 2006 JUNCTION CITY - The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene for William D. "Bill-Bud" Geib of Junction City, who died Dec. 13 of cancer. He was 86. Burial will be at Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Junction City. Geib was born Jan. 22, 1920, in Rock Lake, N.D., to John and Alga Krogen Geib. He married Lucille Thomas on April 5, 1947, in St. John, N.D. He served in the U.S. Army in the Asian theater during World War II. He worked as a heavy-equipment operator for Grosebeck & Durbin. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mary Stewart of Shelton, Wash., and Helen Hughes of Eugene; a sister, Vivian Lymburn of Hurdsfield, N.D.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A son, Michael Geib, died previously.
