Haskell, James Howard (April 16, 1923 - January 16, 2019) was born the middle of 3 brothers on a farm in Norwalk, OH and died peacefully of old age at his Orange, CA retirement home.
James served as a USAAF radio operator at Laurinburg/Maxton, NC during WWII where he met and married his wife, Mazie. He moved from Ohio to California in 1947 and became a CPA with his practice in Whittier, CA. After retirement, James moved to Casta del Sol in Mission Viejo, CA and later to Las Vegas, NV. He returned to California in 2015 to be closer to family.
James, a devoted Angels fan, is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Mazie Haskell; his daughters, Cheryl and Suzanne, their husbands; 2 granddaughters , 3 great-grandsons.
