Larry O'Rish Jackson left his earthly bonds on October 1, 2012 at his home in Spanish Fork surrounded by his family after a long struggle with his health.
Larry was born on September 25, 1934 in Payson, Utah to Leonard Grey and Ada Rowena (Haskell) Jackson. He attended school in Payson, Utah and worked for Mountain Fuel Supply Company as a Service Technician for 24 years. He later worked at Fritzi as a Warehouse Supervisor until his retirement.
He married Patsy Ney on October 9, 1952 and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they had eight wonderful children. They later divorced but he once again married the love of his life, Patsy (Ma) on March 20, 2010.
He enjoyed working on cars, listening to, and collecting old records. He was an avid reader and always up for a game of checkers with his grandsons or just telling stories about his life, but his greatest enjoyment other than family, was fishing. He would never pass on an opportunity to go until his health declined. Larry was liked by the many people that he came in contact with.
Larry is survived by his wife and seven children, Denise Lyn Oryall, Payson; Laurie (Richard) Marshall, Payson; Grey (Karen) Jackson, Spanish Fork; Patty (Michael) Baldwin, Orem; Trisha (Chad) Houghton, Spanish Fork; Blake (Teresa) Jackson, Venice, Florida; Kelly (Don) Dozier, Springville; his brother, Timothy Jackson, Lehi; 27 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Paula (Chris) Gomez.
