Gerald Manning "Gary" Keele passed away on the morning of February 4, 2016. He was born on October 10, 1934, to Thomas Manning and Donna Rees Keele in Spanish Fork, Utah. He spent most of his years growing up in Spanish Fork, where he met his sweetheart, Joyce Flygare, while attending Spanish Fork High School. They were married in October of 1951. After they were married they lived in Orem, Utah, for many years and raised four children there. They were sealed in the Manti Utah LDS Temple in December of 1963. Gary was a very hard worker and drove truck for most of his career. Joyce passed away in April of 2006, Gary later met and married Doris Taylor in December of 2006. He and Doris lived in St. George until his death.
Gary was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce; his father and mother, and an older sister, Donetta Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Keele; a sister Judy Henline, and a brother, Milo Keele. Gary is also survived by his children: Steve (RoShan) Keele, Sheree (Dave) Whiteman, Ron (Jana) Keele, and Brad (Shelley) Keele; thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Gary will be greatly missed!
