ONTARIO, Wis. -- Evamae Noffke, 73, of Ontario, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 1996, at Vernon Memorial Hospital, Viroqua.
She was born Sept. 17, 1923, to Jack and Ruth (Wruck) Dorner. She was united in marriage to Paul B. Noffke on Feb. 26, 1947, in Iowa. She worked as librarian at the Ontario Public Library for 21 years. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America and the Ontario American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Paul of Ontario; three daughters, Sande (Mark) McCaughrean of Heidelberg, Germany, Deronda (John) Carey of Camdenton, Mo., and Paula (Frank) Blackmore of Ontario; five grandchildren, Paul (Kim) Rego of Manchester, Mo., David Rego of Sucher, Wash., Danielle (Lee) Caiazzo of Saylorsburg, Pa., Darin (Ruth) Zebell of Camdenton, Mo., and Thomas (Tina) Pesik of La Crosse; a stepgrandson, Brian Blackmore of Glendale, Ariz.; three great- grandchildren, Amanda and Kyle Rego and Kassandra Zebell; two brothers, Bill (Marge) Dorner of Linden, Wis., and Dick (Ann) Dorner of Muscoda, Wis.; four sisters, Donnie (Dick) Getz and Arlene McPheetters, both of San Diego, Calif., Dorothy (George) Schultz of Portage, Wis., and Diane (Don) Burnard of Rockford, Ill.; and a sister-in-law, Eileen Radke of Black River Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jack; a sister, Theodora Puckett; and a stepgranddaughter, Rene Blackmore.
