  The Deseret News October 11, 1993 Athon Elisha Brown, 88, of Sunset died Saturday, October 9, 1993 at the Heritage Park Care Center in Roy of causes incident to age. He was born September 4, 1905 in Lehi, Utah, a son of Elisha and Lily Stringfellow Rawlings Brown. He married Lucile Williams on December 24, 1929 in Farmington, Utah. She died August 17, 1987. He had been employed as a brakeman for the Southern Pacific Railroad. He had owned a wholesale and retail poultry business, Brown's Market in Roy, and several other businesses associated with the original Roy Shopping Center. He was a lifetime member of the Ogden Elks Lodge, BPOE No. 719. He was a member of the Sunset 5th LDS Ward. He is survived by his daughters, Athleen B. Godfrey, North Salt Lake; Pauline B. and Lee Pruitt, Lexington Park, Maryland; and Lois B. and David Standley, Twin Falls, Idaho; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister, Douglass R. Brown, Salt Lake City; Nile R. Brown, Martha B. Day, both of Draper. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lillian B. Williams, and four grandchildren. Interment in the Paradise City Cemetery, Paradise, Utah.
