Burlin L. O'Neal, 59, pioneer Chelan and Lakeside resident, died at his Chelan home Tuesday following a sudden illness.
Born in Coraopolis, Pa., January 6, 1898, Mr. O'Neal came to Wenatchee with his family in 1901, In 1902 they moved to Lakeside where he attended Lakeside schools. He had since made his home in the Chelan area. For the past 25 years Mr. O'Neal was employed by the Chelan Box and Manufacturing Co.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Leila O'Neal, at home; one son, Donald O'Neal, Manson; one daughter, Mrs Wayne Dauncey, Moses Lake; one brother, Elmer O'Neal, Fairbanks, Alaska; one sister, Mrs. Blanche McQuay, Waswhington, Pa., and seven grandchildren.
