  The Roanoke Times (VA) March 14, 2014 Estellabelle Johnson White Eisaman, 89, of Moneta, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at St. Francis Medical Center in Midlothian. She was the loving wife of William Coley Eisaman for over 67 years. Estellabelle is also preceded in death by a son, David Eisaman. Born March 11, 1925 in McKeesport, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Harry Johnson and Stella White Johnson. Upon graduation from McKeesport High School in 1943, Estellabelle joined the legion of thousands of women all across America during World War II engaged in the production of war materials for our troops overseas. She was employed at the Christie Park Steel Mill in McKeesport. During this time her future husband, William, served aboard the USS Trutta submarine in the Pacific Ocean. Their long-distance romance led to marriage on December 18, 1945 in Greensburg, Pa. Later they moved to White Oak Boro outside of McKeesport next door to her parents and sister. In 1960 Estellabelle and William moved to Plum Boro, Pa. Soon after she attended Alvernia School of Nursing St. Francis Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. Upon graduation she was a Pediatric Nurse for 20 years at Citizens General Hospital in New Kensington, Pa. In 1987 after William retired from Hartford Insurance Company they moved to Smith Mountain Lake, Moneta. Estellabelle was a member of the Halesford Baptist Church, Quilt Club and Red Hat Society. She had a love for sewing, quilting and music. She played the organ and violin. Gospel music was her most favorite. Estellabelle is survived by her two sons, Harry Eisaman and wife, Charlotte, Keith Eisaman and wife, Sheri; David's soulmate, Debbie Goodbar; sister, Audrey Casperson; sister-in-law, George Ann Yafchak and husband, Joe, Nashalla Eberhart and husband, Bob; grandchildren, Barbara Hansen and husband, Mike, Sherry Maddox and husband, Chris, Alexis Eisaman, Lindsay Eisaman; stepgrandchild, Nikki Page: great-grandchildren, McKayla Hansen, Brayden Hansen, Haley Maddox, Kacie Maddox; stepgreat-grandchildren, Jacob Page, Isabella Mari Martini; and many nieces; and nephews.
