Parasson, Lefter, "Lefty" G. The family of Lefter "Lefty" G. Parasson is sad to announce his passing after a courageous fight with cancer at the age of 77.
Lefty was born in Akron, Ohio in 1935 and this is where he met Connie, his wife of 51 years. Lefty received a business degree at Kent State. Upon graduating, he oversaw operations at American Cyanamid, Petro-Tex, and Master Processing, receiving several accolades throughout his career. He then started a new chapter, becoming President of the Parasson Corporation. Lefty was also a lifetime member of TLARGI, serving as President and as a mentor for many years. Lefty had 2 great loves in his life. His love of singing with his "Barbershoppers" brought him great friendships and happiness for over 56 years. His first love was that for his family.
He is survived by his wife, supporter and confidant, Connie. Lefty will be loved and missed by his 3 beautiful children, Danny, Penny and Patrick, and by his 5 grandchildren, Alexis, Nicholas, Zachary, Breann and Cameron. Lefty is also survived by his 2 precious great-granddaughters, Bailey and Addison. Lefty will be thought of often by his beloved sister, Becky Parasson Hershberger, and sister in law Nancy Parasson.
Lefty is predeceased by sisters, Frieda and Mary, and brother Tony. Lefty will be missed by countless nieces and nephews, and life-long friends.
