WILMOT -- Pieter Sterling Sweet, 62, of Grace Road, Wilmot, died Nov. 19, 2005.
He was born in Tarrytown, N.Y. on Oct. 17, 1943, the son of Robert Hamilton Sweet and Elizabeth Sterling Sweet.
Mr. Sweet graduated from East Coast Aero-Tech in 1963. He married Donna Elaine Roberts in 1965 and they lived in Illinois for 16 years where Mr. Sweet worked as an aircraft mechanic for United Airlines at O'Hare Airport. In 1980, the family moved to New Hampshire where Mr. Sweet opened a home-building business called Heritage Home Pride, which he operated until his death.
Mr. Sweet was a Master Mason and twice served as master of his lodge. His interests included beekeeping, canoeing, sailing, boat-building, fishing, hunting, reading, making toys, cabinet-building, gardening and maple-sugaring.
In addition to his wife, family includes a daughter, Amee; a son, Robert Sweet; his brothers, Douglas and Jeffrey, as well as many nieces and nephews.
