  Daily Press (Victorville, CA) December 26, 2011 ROSELENE HEYWOOD Roselene Heywood stepped from mortality into the spirit world December 20, 2011. She was born October 6, 1924 to Marinus and Elizabeth Petersen in Newton, Utah. She was preceded in death by Harold, her husband of 65 years; her parents; five of her nine siblings; and a grandson, Christopher Garcia. She was a devoted wife; and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a faithful daughter of God and a perfect example of kindness and unselfishness to everyone who knew her. One of the greatest joys of her life was the ten years she and Harold spent serving in the LDS temples in Los Angeles and Redlands. She is survived by her four children and their spouses: Larry and Cathie Heywood of Hesperia, Sally and Chuck Garcia of Diamond Bar, Jim and Terri Heywood of Moroni, Utah; and Hal and Gaila Heywood of Hesperia; 25 grandchildren; and 56 great-grandchildren.
