  The Hartford Courant (CT) October 24, 1996 FOSS. Roxcy (Peabody) Foss, 87, of Welles Village, Talcottville section of Vernon, formerly of Manchester, widow of Walter W. Foss, died unexpectedly Tuesday (Oct. 22, 1996) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in New London, Aug. 7, 1909, she had been a resident of Manchester since 1940, moving to Talcottville four years ago. Mrs. Foss had retired from the Hamilton-Standard Co. in 1974 after 27 years, and was a member of the North United Methodist Church of Manchester. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, W. Robert and Carol Foss of Vernon; six grandchildren, Jennifer Cordova and her husband, Steven of California, Kathryn Wroniak of Ellington, Jeffrey Foss and his wife, Sheila of Enfield, Peggy Foss of New Hampshire, Sarah Bonazza and her husband, David of California, and Christopher Foss and his wife, Ellen of Rocky Hill, and nine great-grandchildren.
